The action has continued to hot up in the FDJ2 series (Formula Drift Japan), with Round 5 taking place over the weekend of the 9th and 10th of September at the Nikko Circuit (Tochigi Prefecture) in Japan. And once again, all eyes have been on the HKGSA Racing Drift Team which is proudly sponsored this season by KCM Trade.
Much like trading, the sport of drifting requires precision, timing, and execution, and all of these have been on display throughout the exciting FDJ2 series in 2023. The competition, which features some of the most highly skilled drifting drivers from all over the globe, continues to rise in popularity and it is no surprise to see that drifting is growing as a prominent motorsport series.
Whilst naturally we have been paying close attention to the KCM Trade-sponsored HKGSA Racing Drift Team, as spearheaded by the highly talented Ken Yeung in the driver’s seat, it really has been the closeness of competition amongst all the various teams which have contributed to making the 2023 season of FDJ2 such a memorable one to-date. And Round 5 was no exception, with another hard-fought battle amongst the top teams in what is a test of both technique and precision.
With Round 5 now completed, it will not be long before the teams and growing fanbase of Formula Drift turn their attention to the Okayama International Circuit next month from October 6th and 7th, where Round 6 will be taking place.
