KCM Trade Appoints Sunny Chau as Senior Market Analyst Strengthening the Team and Enhancing Research Capabilities

With over a decade of industry experience, KCM Trade is pleased to announce the appointment of Sunny Chau as Senior Market Analyst, effective June 2026. In his new role, Sunny will focus on market research and analysis across contracts for difference (CFDs), commodities, and equity indices, further strengthening the firm’s analytical capabilities.

Deep Industry Cultivation: A Decade of Institutional Experience

Sunny brings more than ten years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining KCM Trade, he served as a Sales Manager at Rakuten Securities HK Limited, a subsidiary of Japan’s Rakuten Securities—one of the country’s largest online brokers and part of the global Rakuten Group.

Earlier in his career, Sunny served as an ECM Assistant Manager at Fulbright Securities Limited, a well-established and large-scale Hong Kong brokerage firm under the Fulbright Financial Group, which provides a full range of global securities and financial services.

Professional Expertise: Market Research Excellence Supported by Academic and Regulatory Expertise

Sunny holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management from the University of London, a federal public research university with a globally recognised academic reputation. He also brings a strong background in regulatory compliance, having  previously held Type 1 (Dealing in Securities) and Type 3 (Leveraged Foreign Exchange Trading) regulated activity licenses issued by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC). This deep compliance and practical background enable him to provide distinctive perspective on market research and analysis.
