KCM Trade Partners with Leading Australian Universities to Cultivate Financial Talent

In March 2026, KCM Trade once again collaborated with student organisations from two renowned Australian universities, The University of Melbourne and Monash University. By sponsoring Orientation Week (O-Week) and assisting with the “Trading 101” seminars, the firm aims to enhance young people’s financial literacy while actively fulfilling its corporate social responsibility.

Deepening Campus Partnerships to Promote Youth Financial Education

As part of O-Week activities, KCM Trade sponsored merchandise for the University of Melbourne Cantonese Student Association, the Monash University Hong Kong Student Association, and the Monash University Australia-China Youth Association. Through this initiative, the firm aims to introduce KCM Trade to a wider student community while highlighting the importance of financial literacy.

Meanwhile, KCM Trade also supported the Monash Hong Kong Student Association in hosting a “Trading 101” seminar, inviting KCM Trade Australia’s General Manager, Jason Liu, as the keynote speaker. While introducing various asset classes and explaining how factors such as interest rate changes and geopolitical developments can impact financial markets, he guided students in developing risk awareness and a broader macroeconomic perspective.

In addition, the seminar series also featured special guest speakers, including EY Director Alison Nghiem, NAB Assistant Engineer Victoria Huang, and Versent technology expert Peter McIntyre. Across different sessions, they explored financial literacy, trader empowerment, and how cloud technology and digital transformation are reshaping business fundamentals.

Brand and Corporate Responsibility

KCM Trade has consistently upheld corporate social responsibility, committed to enhancing the financial knowledge and literacy of tertiary students. Through long-term partnerships with university student organisations, the firm has fostered a deep integration of financial education within the academic environment. Looking ahead, KCM Trade will continue to place campuses at the heart of its initiatives, creating further learning and development opportunities for students aspiring to a career in finance.
