KCM Trade Continues to Promote Corporate Social Responsibility Supporting Australia’s Charity Walk Event by Coastrek
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has become a key focus for modern enterprises pursuing sustainable development. As a socially responsible financial institution, KCM Trade actively participates in philanthropic initiatives around the globe, working hand-in-hand with local communities to foster shared growth.
Australia is a key market in KCM Trade’s global footprint. Following its sponsorship in April of a leading university's student union for the “Run for The Kids” charity run, the group has reaffirmed its commitment by supporting a local community team, “Powerpuff Girls v2”, in taking part in the Coastrek Mornington Peninsula 30km charity trek on 23 May, organized by Coastrek and Wild Women On Top, two of the most prominent women’s health organizations.
Promoting Mental Wellbeing and Positive Energy
The Coastrek Mornington Peninsula charity walk aims to promote physical and mental wellbeing through outdoor activity. This year, a total of 1,229,020 AUD was raised, with all proceeds supporting mental health services provided by Beyond Blue.
A representative from the “Powerpuff Girls v2” team shared: “KCM Trade has been a long-term supporter, providing resources, funding, and expert financial guidance. This ongoing partnership has enabled us to grow our sports initiatives and spread positivity to more people. Thanks to KCM Trade’s support, we exceeded our fundraising goal ahead of schedule.”
This marks the second consecutive year that KCM Trade has supported the team’s participation in the charity trek. Jason Lau, Managing Director of KCM Trade Australia, commented: “Through backing events like this, we aim to promote a healthy lifestyle while also showcasing KCM Trade’s professional and fearless corporate spirit.”
